Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Red Fox CargoRide driver and shipper services. By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Red Fox CargoRide is a digital logistics marketplace that connects shippers with verified drivers for cargo transport across Ethiopia. We provide technology, matching, wallet tooling, and support. We are not a carrier of goods unless expressly stated for a specific service.

2. Eligibility & accounts

• You must be legally able to drive or ship cargo under Ethiopian law.
• Drivers must maintain valid licenses, vehicle documents, and insurance where required.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of information you submit and for keeping login credentials secure.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that fail verification, breach these Terms, or pose safety or fraud risks.

3. Driver obligations

• Accept only jobs you can complete safely and lawfully.
• Handle cargo with reasonable care; report damage, delays, or incidents promptly.
• Do not solicit off-platform payments that bypass Platform fees or wallet rules.
• Remain reachable and share accurate location while on an active job.

4. Shipper obligations

• Provide accurate pickup/drop-off details, cargo description, weight, and special handling needs.
• Do not tender illegal, hazardous (unless authorized), or prohibited goods.
• Ensure cargo is properly packed and ready at the agreed time.

5. Fees, wallet & payments

Service fees, commissions, and wallet rules are shown in the app before you confirm a job or top-up. Wallet balances are denominated in ETB. Top-ups may be completed via supported online processors or manual bank transfer subject to admin verification. Unpaid fees, chargebacks, or abuse may result in account restrictions.

6. Cancellations & disputes

Cancellation rules and any applicable fees are disclosed in-app. Disputes about delivery quality, damage, or charges should be reported through Help & Support with your Driver/Job ID. We may mediate based on available evidence but are not liable for all cargo losses; insurance or carrier liability may apply depending on the booking terms.

7. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the Platform, interfere with other users, reverse engineer our systems, upload malware, or use the service for unlawful activity. We may remove content and restrict access to protect the Platform and community.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Red Fox CargoRide is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for delays caused by traffic, weather, force majeure, or third-party failures. Our aggregate liability related to a job is limited to fees you paid for that job through the Platform, except where liability cannot be limited by law.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected in the app or on our website. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
